The Message pt3

God is perfect in all His ways. He is incapable of sin. Perfect righteousness. When He speaks, it’s perfect and true. His words never contradict no matter how much time goes by. We as humans can barely understand that but with that being said He cannot allow anything unrighteous in His presence. He can, but it must be dealt with swiftly. A human level understanding of this would be as follows.
You are standing over a septic tank that is full of human waste. You surely have the power to jump in that tank head first and nothing could stop you. But you wouldn't right? Why not? It's disgusting to you right? But it's not disgusting to a waste-eating bacteria. They love it. So it must be accepted that some things love it while others reject it. So what would you do if someone did jump in to that tank and then wanted to have a relationship with you? Would you accept them as they are or would you require them to clean up first? To clean up, the waste would have to be completely removed. Not covered up with say perfume or something. That is an accurate description of sins effect on God the Father. Here are some biblical accounts we know about that show this to be true.
When sin entered heaven it was dealt with so fast a witness to the event (Jesus) described it as seeing the sinner (satan) hitting the earth like lightning.
Another example is before human kind knew sin, God walked with us in all His glory and we lived to tell about it. That’s because we were like children not knowing sin. When we sinned that all changed. Death came into the world. A place was created to hold us until the cost could be paid that would nullify sin thus freeing us from deaths grip. That place is called Hades. It's split into two sections. One side for the "bad" and one for the "good". The “good” was better referred to as “Paradise” or "Abrahams Bosom". A lot of times “Paradise” is mistaken for Heaven in the bible. The good could not go to Heaven because their "bad" was only covered (like perfume) not paid for or completely removed.
The best example and the most touching of how God cannot allow sin in His presence is the account of when Jesus took the sins of the world and placed them on Himself.  It was at that precise moment that Jesus cried out “Lord, why have you forsaken me”. In other words, why have you left me? The answer is , He couldn’t look at Him. THAT’S THE PRICE HE PAID FOR YOU AND ME! He jumped head first into the tank.
Now, if you're wondering why Jesus can go the Father and stand righteously before Him while carrying all the sins of the world click on the pic and I'll tell you about some cool ways He handles that.
